"The College of Foreign Languages and Literature offers undergraduate and graduate programs through the Departments of English, Arabic Language and Culture, Slavic Languages and Literatures, Japanese, Korean, Turkish Language and Culture, and European Languages and Cultures, along with the Graduate Institute of Linguistics, Master’s Program in Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies, BA Program in Southeast Asian Languages and Cultures and the Foreign Language Center. The College also offers a Master of Arts program in English Teaching. The Center of Translation and Cross-cultural Studies was established in 2015 to promote the teaching, research and practice of translation and cross-cultural literature. The College nurtures globally minded individuals with excellent foreign language skills, and deep understanding of world literature, culture and language teaching and encourages students to acquire a second foreign language and to double-major to develop professional skills in conjunction with their language expertise."
