The College of Law’s faculty includes members from around the world and with professional backgrounds in a wide range of fields and specialties, and enjoys a particularly strong reputation for incisive research. The College emphasizes professionalism, interdisciplinary studies, diversified development, and internationalism. The College has established research centers for civil law, criminal law, public law, economic and financial law, labor and social law, and basic jurisprudence. Students receive mandatory training in jurisprudence, economics, and financial and legal systems, and may select specializations in 10 elective programs. While based in Taiwan, the College of Law deliberately adopts an international mindset, with a particular focus on legal studies in Mainland China.
